I play Alliance, and while I hate the loss of a great world PvP area (despite my RP/PvE leanings), I can cede that Southshore, Tarren Mill, even Andorhal were all Lordaeron property, and your flawed "we're not the Forsaken, we're the Undead Lordaeron" logic would justify those conquests http://bit.ly/h9vOap

Death to Sylvanas. Oblivion for the walking dead. Unite and fight! For the Alliance!

Woah, woah, WOAH! Hold on a second, sir. I'll have you know Hellscream's eyes are upon the Forsaken and they are not, repeat, NOT using the plague anymore. On anyone. Or anything. Nope. No more plague being used. Not. At. All.

Also, I'm glad this article touched on the suspicious brainwashing of the new Forsaken created in the Silverpine area. To me, the thing that differentiated the Forsaken from the scourge was their free will and their opposition to the Lich King.

Keep in mind, some of the Forsaken are also mindless, or rotbrains. The result is using a Valkyr to control the newly risen, preventing any incidents. Its kind of like you can allow someone who joins the military freely to sign a contract for X amount of years, compared to the draft, where you're rounded up regardless of individual desire.

Then you walk into Silverpine and all these new undead run around saluting and it does appear that they are absolutely brainwashed. However, you see Godfrey and crew actively disobeying Sylvanas left and right, which seems to imply that they are either immune/resistant or that they do indeed have free will.

I know this has pointed out before by someone before, but I think it bears repeating. Take a look at the quest text for "Combat Training" in Felstone Field in Western Plaguelands:
